Support for Our Students
Before anything else, I want to speak to something that many families in our community have been feeling deeply. Our students today face enormous pressures: social pressures, academic pressures, and the challenges of growing up in a world that moves faster than ever before. One thing is clear: our students need to know they are not facing those pressures alone. Students often listen to each other in ways adults cannot. When we invest in positive peer leadership, we strengthen our schools from the inside out.
Peach County has dedicated educators and leaders who have worked hard to build the foundation our schools stand on today, and I respect that work. But every generation of leadership must ask an important question: Are we meeting the needs of today’s students? Education continues to evolve, and our schools must evolve with it. Our schools shouldn’t run on tradition alone—they should run on what works best for students today.
That’s why I will advocate for Peach County to begin a more innovative, comprehensive, multi-year effort to modernize and strengthen our curriculum, ensuring our classrooms reflect proven research, innovation, and the real-world experiences of today’s students. When students see how learning connects to real life, their future becomes clearer—because the future of Peach County is sitting in our classrooms.
Peach County has talented students, dedicated teachers, and families who care deeply about education. With clear choices, transparent leadership, and a renewed focus on innovation and student success, I believe we can move our schools forward together. I would be honored to earn your support as we work to create brighter futures for Peach County students.
